With the same lacebite guard as the FT6 Pro, the additional felt and foams provide a truly pro-inspired feel and top-of-foot protection. Internally, the combination of the extra-thick ADPT memory foam ankle pads and the HD microfiber liner offers step-in comfort that somehow gets even better after they're baked. The Meta Frame boot material also does a great job of forming to the foot in the heating process too.
Unlike the FT860, CCM upgraded the FT870 with their Speed Blade XS holder with it's signature quick-release system. With a quick spin of the dial, players can swap out damaged or broken steel in seconds keeping them on the ice and off of the bench.
